Another image from my shoot with Stu. We had a great variety of water fowl and in one direction I was able to line up a bright reflection to pursue the high-key look that I like.

Hey Mate, I have been away for a bit--photographing eagles in Homer--but it is good to see you here again :). Love, love, love the high-key watercolor look and this superb image.

Thanks, Artie. It's been a hectic 18 months with work. Hoping to catch my breath a bit over the summer!

Great looking duck with fantastic detail! Especially like the whites on the Teals head. Can really appreciate the catch light in the eye on this one, stands out nicely. Does it need just a tad CW? TFS

    Tony:

Very well executed high key image, love the eye and splash of color from the bill.

Hi Tony, the colours of the Teal pop so well against the high key BG. Getting you down to the lower level has worked out well here, and I feel you have placed the Teal perfectly in the frame. I can see this large on one of your walls.

    Beautiful colors and reflection!

Love the way the high-key treatment lends a beautiful contrast

I've never seen one of these birds before and this was a wonderful introduction to the species.
