Default Conwingo dam - any updated info?

Would like to travel to the dam right after Thanksgiving, need to make reservations for a place to stay and the renting of a 500mm lens.
    Thanks

    Hi Ronald,

I haven't been there in a couple of weeks, so I don't personally have current information. There were a few eagles around, but action was sporadic.

But what's 'current' today is irrelevant ancient history two or three weeks from now. Based on experience, late November to late December can be pretty action-packed.

It truly all depends on the day, and there's no way to make a lock-tight prediction.

It can be hot one day, and pretty quiet the next.

But odds are good that if you spend a few days there, you should go home with some eagle photos.

And your percentages for success rise exponentially if you get there each day before sunrise, and stay until dark.

Good luck on your trip !
