    Here is my first image from Homer.. a pan-blur of a bald eagles run for a fish. I used 1/15 sec for this image. Did some minor cleanup of the halo around the bill. Adjusted for saturation and selective colors. Hope you like it...

    Hi Indranil;

    I'm so jealous......you're on an amazing trip. There are things I really like about this image and things that I would change...but blurs are so subjective, I think they can be difficult to critique. I find myself wishing that something was more in focus...the eagle's head, probably...and I'd be tempted to blur the strong diagonal lines a bit...for me, they compete with the focal point of the image. Enjoy the trip...hope to see more of your eagle captures!

    Awesome Indranil! I love the amount of blur and the action you captured. Hope you are having as much fun as I did! If this were mine I 'd replace the eye with one of your sharp ones. Congrats! Can't wait to see more of your images from the trip.

    Agree with the others that this is very nice as a blur but would like to see the head or eye more in focus. I'd also look at brightening the whites up just a bit more. You sure get a sense of speed from this image!

    Beautiful blur Indranil! Love the streaking in the water it really does give a sense of speed to the Eagle. Denise makes a good suggestion on the eye. Look forward to more of your Eagles. Nice work!

    Thanks all. I appreciate all the feedback... actually I added a small Gaussian blur on the head to match with the rest of the image. I will rework and post once I am back home tomorrow!

    Indranil.....I am loving the blur you got on the wings. I don't mind the whole eagle being blurred but the diagonal lines are too much for my tastes> IMHO I would tone them down a bit or even just have those lines just behind the eagle to give a sense of motion forward.
