This shot was taken in High Park, Toronto where these bird actually nest as I heard, but never had the fortune of seeing the little ducklings.
    Thanks for looking.

    Karl,
So nice to see the pair together, only wish the hen was looking our way. The perch is interesting and leads the eye to the hen, Great water colors and exposure, I like the reeds reflecting into the water as it adds Interest. Perhaps consider a 3x2 crop eliminating the horizontal reeds topside, superb as is. Hopefully you catch up with the chicks in the spring!

    Karl:

Nice exposure, light angle to left gives some modeling effect and depth, good DOF for the couple.

I could see a pano version, cropped from the top to just below the horizontal yellow reeds.

    Cheers

Karl, great view to show off the different colours between male and female. Super pose from the male, and Randy's idea of cropping off from the top will work nicely.

    Thanks Stuart, Randy and Dan.
I should have noticed that the top looked a bit messy.
    Here is the new crop.

    Dan:

I am sorry I missed your recomendation on the crop, we were probably typing at the same time. I would have credited you for the suggestion if I had seen yours first.

    Cheers

Nice Karl, I posted one of my own after seeing this. I like your perch and the water BG.

Nice pair image Karl. I like the angled perch and the positions of the ducks in the frame. Repost looks good.

Great colors, neat perch and nice to have two. I too wish for a better HA on the female but this just kinda tells a different story and I like that too.
