    Default Grunged Barn

Shot this fall in the small town of Rosseau, Ontario. This barn has been covered with these antique signs for as long as I can remember. This fall I finally decided to stop and grab a few compositions of it knowing that I would try grunging it up a bit. Ran it through Nik's 'tonal contrast' twice for HDR-grunge look.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, Cool find. I like the way you filled the frame with the building. Lots of great signs to look at. The overly detailed look is nice and fits the subject well. Love the Coca cola sign.

I really like the hyper-detail look and color of HDR-grunge. Old buildings seem to be especially suited to this and this is perfect! I enjoyed reading the signs. I wonder where the "Danger Man of War"came from?

Andrew, enjoyed reading those signs. Good tonal range for the grunged look. Cool find!

Andrew ....very cool find and treatment. I am wondering what it would look like if the grunge was masked for the trees.

Andrew, I love the effect you got on the barn! I can't help wondering what it would look like with a more natural looking BG, though...maybe half the grunge there on the grass and trees?

Hi Andrew....neat collection of signs on the barn...what possibilities, you could spend an hour just shooting various compositions with the signs!...and I really like the grunge effect on the weathered wood of the barn, on the rusted areas of the sign, etc. I find myself wanting a little bit more in the foreground...Jay would love this shot!

    Nice image and application, Andrew.

Still some room for a few signs, but ...

Like the colors and texture of it. Nice timing with fall in force.
