Compositionally strong, good use of depth of field. Nice use of receding patterns and colors. Image contrasts could use some touch up. Overall, I think this picture is stronger than the first in the series in terms of interest and subject matter. One thing I notice is that the lamps are obscured by the horizontal posts, not sure if there was an angle at which they could be seen, don't know if it matters though, just something I noticed.

    Chris,

Good catch on the lamps, never thought about that - thanks
I need to update the techs as well.
I was using the MKIV and 70-200 2.8

    Jeff,

Greetings. Captivating image with a surprising painterly look. Did you try other angles? I'm wondering what a slightly lower angle would have looked like.

    Cheers,

Jeff, I love the image - it's so colorful and I love the perspective. I think I might crop right below the top band of lights so you have the sky at the top. Of course, then you're stuck with the light pole on the rhs that you'd need to evict. I like it as it is also

    Cherly,

Thanks, placement and composition are the most challenging and subject items when we define the frame. I have looked at you suggestion and I agree - well done. I also agree with Chris regarding the lamp post. Interesting how placement make a difference, good feedback thanks.
