Default American pipit wintering in Mexico

belong to the Motacillidae family, which means "those who move their tails" for its habit of moving the head and tail when feeding like doves, spend all their time on the ground feeding on insects, in the summer live in alpine grasslands and tundra, and so he love to walk by this place slowly leaving some mud and grass.

Like the alert pose, low angle, and eye contact. The bird looks slightly oversharpened, and I might remove the dark spots in the BG.

Looks simular to the Australasian Pipit ( I think it is still callled that). Good eye contact.

The pose, detail and habitat make this a great shot. I like the low angle too.

Nice bird, pose, low angle, details. I may have opened up the aperture more to help blur the BG even more...but as is I would tone down the black areas as mentioned by Doug. Thanks for the info on the behaviour!
