This is a shot I took last year and it was just your basic Robin in the grass shot so I started playing around with various filters to see if I could make it more interesting. I used a Topaz filter but this edit was done awhile ago and I don't remember which one. Maybe one of you that uses these filters more often that I do will recognize the effect.

Ken, I like the stylized look of the Clean filter, glad you were able to get the tail in. The pose and vignette look good to me.

Ken, a typical Robin pose I like the Topaz effect and the bg. For some reason he reminds me of a roadrunner. Nicely done.

    Nice image and application, Ken.

Nice to see the common birds for a change in a new vision. Well done!

Hi ken....i love the effect you got here esp on the feathers....you might consider cropping the vignette at the bottom just a bit!

Nice work, Ken...if it were mine, I might consider blurring the foreground a bit...the strong lines of the grass, at least to my eye, compete a bit with the robin for your focus in the image. Wicked job of processing on the robin...nicely done!
