Little Egret (Egretta garzetta)
This two Egret's are one of the parents (on the right) and son (the left one).
In my region, after the chicks leaving the nest, they go to a small island and stay there waiting for their parents in this island. The parents go to hunt and when they have enough food they come to feed the chicks in this island.
In this picture the parent had just arrived to feed the chick.
Fullframe image, +0,35 exposure, sharpness after resized.
1/5000, f/5.6, ISO 400
7D + 600mm f/4 + aquatic blind

Critics welcome...

Love the story but the capture isn't working for me. One head has a less than optimal head angle and the fledgling's head is not visible at all. For me, that hurts the image. Maybe you have a capture before or after this one that shows the young's head? Otherwise, you have gorgeous light and a nice environment.

Hi Humberto, great low angle here, and I like the marshy habitat. Neat splash at the young bird's foot. Good techs. I do wish we could see the youngster's face...as is I found myself studying the image to see what was going on. The crooked part of the taller grasses in upper right also catch my eye. Thanks for the info about these birds' behaviour as this puts the image into context!

I agree with Marina, this one isn't working working for me either low angle is nice but the adult is angled away from us and we can't see the juvenile's head...better luck next time

Yes I do have some more to post...
Marina, Daniel and Arash, I do understand your point of view, and I appreciate it, in first view, also had that opinion, but looking twice I saw something different, I saw a behavior that is unique, when the "mother" arrived, the chick, run like crazy to the mother, and before the mother start feeding her, they made this big hug, like if they where missing each other. I do know that the head angle is not the best, I do know that the we can't see the youngster head, but I now that I like it like this, maybe because I was there and saw this "human" behavior.
