Default Kachina Grasshopper

This lubber was pretty beat up - only one back leg so he looks better as a Kachina doll The blue background is the wall of my barn. I used Topaz Clean, Stylize Details and then PB Oil Paint.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

    Cheryl,

This is a wonderful image. The style is great. Looks like a character in a children's book. I love it.

    Hi Cheryl,

Took me a minute to recognize the flip, as it looks so convincing. Wonderful use of filters, not overdone. Works great as a center comp to me. Textures, colors and image design all come together very nicely.
Good stuff.

Hi Cheryl....great stuff! It is so surrealistic; it DOES look like a very good sketch/painting from a child's fantasy book! Great processing, wonderful color and detail, textures, composition..you nailed it. Well done!

Cheryl, This is cute as a button. I like the background came out and the nice clear details on the hopper. Nice combo of filters.

Hey Cheryl, great job of spotting the flip potential in your original and a fantastic job of processing! The combo of filters made this something special.

Thanks, everyone. I have a hard time making birds look weird for some reason. I do have one bird image I'll post later but I liked the way this flip came out.
