    Taken on a trip to Aviemore in March 2008. Canon 20D with a Canon 100 - 400mm IS lens @ 400mm, ISO 400, f5.6 @1/1600 sec.

    Very lovely image with pretty lighting and nice sharp detail. If this were my image I would crop it a little tighter. I would crop both from the right and the left leaving more space on the right for the bird to leave the frame and also from the top. This will bring the bird into a more prominent postion in your image. Very lovely work Mark and thanks for sharing.

    A nice capture of a very difficult little bird, that is always lurking in the shadows of the fir trees. Well spotted.
