    I like it very much - it has a great mood to it. I wasn't sure about the foreground deer at first but actually I think he makes the shot. Well spotted. The light on the in-focus foreground trees is beautiful.

    I can't see how you could have avoided it, as you clearly had to shoot right then to catch that moment, but I personally wish the branch was not appearing to be in front of the background deer's face. I'm guessing you do not like to clone?

    I love the morning light and mood here, Morten. The road also acts as a nice leading line, although most people will try to avoid it in "wildlife photography"...
    I wish there was a bit more definition to the frontmost buck on the LHS. I also felt it could be improved with a vertical crop - what do you think?

    I have been thinking about the crop, I know the deers are more vissible, but I dont feel as much drawn in to the picture.
