    I took this image late today, along with gyrafalcon and arctic fox. What a rush!

    1D IV, 600mm
    Manual, 1/100 @ f/11, ISO 800
    Post-production- 15in MBP, LR3, CS5

    Beautiful - love that falling snow, all the details in the the rocks in snow in the foreground and the perfect exposure.

    love the work you are posting from the field, Chas! the falling snow is a very nice touch - probably a dumb question, but did you take some 'wider' angles here?

    Thanks, and yes I have additional images from 20 feet further back with the 600 and others taken with 70-200.
