Nice the close up look view, I have not see many young skimmers. I like the surrounding habitat. Image would be stronger if bill did not intersect with grass. The picture is a tad bit tight IMO too. It is important to control the frame, notice the distracting brown spot on the RHS. Consider taking some off the bottom as well, I tend to like a clean bottom edge.

Nice sharp, eye, bill and feather detail. The whites are probably in check wish there were more detail. Might try playing with curve and contrast to bring in more tonality and pop. Very original pose and young skimmer pic, nice work and thanks for sharing.

    Sachin,

I haven't seen a young skimmer before... very cool. Good comments from Jeff. I like the exposure in what looks like fairly bright light. Some detail work (curves for whites contrast or something like Topaz Detail) I think would add some pop.
Overall, a fine shot. Good show!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

    Hello Sachin,

I have only just seen juvenile skimmers this year in Wilmington, North Carolina where they nest at Wrightsville Beach. This is a very nice shot and I like the low angle you captured it. I agree with the comment that it appears to be just a iittle tight. It appears it's a 4:3 crop, or close, and I wonder if a 3:2 crop with more space in front of the bird would be nicer? In any case, this is a very well exposed and detailed shot!
    Regards,
    Kevin
