    Canon 7D Canon 500mm f4 L IS & 1.4TC 1 Tripod head ISO 250 -0.3 1/1250 sec f5.6
    It has taken about 10 months for me to get a woodpecker within range in the back garden, hopefully they will start appearing more regularly and so will the jays. All C & C welcome.

    The slightly offset light made for some nice detail in this image. I like it.

    Jonathan, lovely mix of colours on the woodpecker, and I would maybe give a touch of selective sharpening on the head. Comp works well.
