    I have to say I probably have far too many images of this bird and lots have been posted here by others as well, but I quite Like this one.

    Taken in Chikwenya concession, Zimbabwe, 14th September 2011

    Hi Ken,

    One of my favorite birds--still trying to get great flight images (I do have a couple but small in frame). I don't think one can have too many images of these birds.

    Very nice image, technically right on. My only suggestion is to lighten the head and in particular the area around the eye. Great background.

    Ken one of my favorite African birds! Lovely composition and I agree with Roger's suggestions. Great catch!

    Stunning bird and I like the background. Roger's suggestion to lighten the area around the eye gets my vote also. You might consider doing some "eye doctor" on the eye to lighten the iris slightly.

    Thanks everybody for your comments and suggestions, strangely I did what has been suggested, but it seems to have been "lost" in conversion. I will take another look.

    I can see why you like it. Not sure I have seen this pose before so thanks for that. Nice to see the back side also! Background is great and compliments the bird well. TFS
