    Chas,

Beautiful bear, beautiful light, and totally different feel given the environment.

    Any snow yer?

Great light and scene here Chas...I like that you kept the bear from being 'bisected'

It's fun to see a PB with no snow for a change. Gorgeous light and the environment works well with this one. Looking forward to the snow-filled photos too!

Beautiful image Chas. Delayed winter is providing some unique photo ops of these bears. Brilliant comp and perfect techs as usual.

Beautiful. For me, the rocks are perfect, the bear is perfect, the long grass is perfect, and the way they are "laid out" is spot on. The only thing that could maybe be adjusted when you get home (you are there, I understand from your post) is the sky... maybe less sky and maybe slightly bluer? But it's not even a nit; just a thought. Love it as it is.

    Paul, thanks for the comments.

99% of my images are posted in the 2x3 format as seen through the viewfinder so that viewers understand how to make the most of in-camera comp. I think you mean change the hue of the sky, as it does appear slightly cyan.

    Chas,

Whats not to like here...I beautiful image done differently. A Polar Bear in the brown grass with lots of environment around. a very refreshing change in how to capture something from the norm. Why run with the crowd when you can create something unique. A friend of mine used to say, "I don't want to be just another pony in the stable". I have always tried to apply that when I can in reference to my art.

    Well made "art" here.

Yes that is what I mean in my clumsy way. And the comp is much appreciated here.
