    Really well done, Craig. Love the position of the bird. Like the fact that you acquired a catchlight b/c it helps with the dark head.

    Craig,

    You have done great here, this is a difficult bird to get right mainly because of that black head. The underwing details and colours are very nice to see.

    The two negatives are the bill crossing the wing and the deep shadow in the neck but these are not big issues and all in all a terrific image.

    I'd say you've given us a great show! What an interesting bird, and so well displayed. Doesn't look like the easiest light to manage.
