    Cropped to Pano format,
Again, processed on uncalibrated laptop, looking for comments on composition, general asthetics and cropping. (The Light was poor, hoping for better light tomorrow).

Great sense of action from spray and pose. Fish a plus.

If it wouldn't make the subject too small in the frame, I think it would aid the story telling aspect if you can show the impact point on the water. I assume it is just out of frame on the lower right.

Hope you have better light to work with.

    Cheers

If you can produce quality like this in poor light I just can't wait to see your shots in good light. Absolute knockout - beautiful detail.

Good action, lovely green water. I like the pano crop. Generally I might have wished for more room to fly into, but in this case I think the water splash justifies the comp. A tiny bit more beneath might help. Fish a bonus.

    Hi All

    Thanks for the comments !

Here is a slightly different crop, with a bit more front and Behind/below.
This is as wide as I can go, most of the frame was cropped off the top
To get this crop after rotating it to level, I had to do a couple of small puppet warps in PS to get the two corners to fill in again to keep the whole splash.

The actually 'splash' is out of frame right, but the left overs are a bit visible in the water bottom right.

My concern with this one, was the bird is smack bang in the center.

    Thoughts ?

Since you don't have the impact site on the water, I would be inclined to stick with your OP. Which is probably why you did it that way in the first place!

    Thanks for the effort.

Crap weather or not this is a nice image. I actually like the repost better...I prefer the water drops hitting the water at bottom edge not as close as on the OP. Yes, the eagle is centered, but the image is well balanced with the splashing action filling the area behind the subject (I would eliminate the orangish spot found within the splashing action).

We cant control the weather on a shoot, but you have achieved more than can be expected with the conditions. I prefer the top image in pane #6, together withy the flying droplets. His catch a bonus. Love the colour of the water.

I think the low light gives the image a richness and saturation it might not show with more sun. Extremely well done. I also prefer the top RP. If you don't get anything else on the IPT, this one comes close to being worth the money.
