Default Spring is a little late

Well its spring.. but stilll cold out there.. cold enough that the tulips up in the skagit valley are late this year, but it has not delayed the bird migrations north. So far i have seem quite a few of the early migrants and it would appear that this is agoing to be a good hear for birds.

I have been spending quite a bit of time out at Leadbetter point watching the shore birds, seeing quite a few raptors, and am looking forward to seeing some snowy plover.

Where are some of your favorite spring time haunts to photograph birds??

Please post some of your spring time images :)

    Wow,

We were up on the mountain loop highway yesterday and there is still about 5' of snow past silverton.

    What a gorgeous day.
