Now a days every morning I open BPN to see your Polar Bear images

Sid,
Another magic moment, in this image cloning out the channel is definitely better. I would have called it "A Touching Moment"
Cheers

Hi Sid,
Another really impressive image. Great interaction. Exposure and focus right on. While your first posted image is nice and clean, the original is just as effective in my view.

Sid, Another winner image. Love the title, yet again. I like the flying snow better in the OP. I see clone artifacts on the horizon esp. above the back of the right bear, also some where the channel is cloned out. I agree with Roger, with or without the channel cloned - both are fine. I am quite sure you have enough shots for a wonderful book! These images are just too cool, no pun intended. Your titles are really fitting for all these images - well done. TFS
Another blinder! I vote for the cloned version's crop and PP on the bears applied to the uncloned version![]()
Sid - another great image and I like both versions with a slight preference to the cloned version. I too see the cloning artifacts pointed out by Tom, also between the 2 bears, closer to the one on the left.
Keep 'em coming and tfs,
Rachel
Another beauty destined to be seen in pediatric ear clinics everywhere! Prefer the cleaner look of the OP.
An interesting behavioural shot and an apt title Sid.
I think both have their own merits and appreciate posting both images for comparison and showing what work has been done. When compared side by side, is the OP too clinical, but the ideal shot we would like to have, or is the original better and more reflective of the environment/moment? Who knows, either way I like both, but if I had to make a choice I prefer the original with the wider crop, but with some minor tweaks to the snow ie removal of a few of the black marks & blobs.
BTW Had the cub been rolling in anything to get the black marks in the coat do you know?

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Sid, another fine polar bear image from you. Excellent exposure, good interaction, and I like your low angle. As a matter of interest, what are you shooting from?
