    I shot this image just as the sun was clearing the mountain horizon.

    Love the composition and the BG, but looks like you have lost quite a bit of detail on the head. I might try and selectively sharpen the head a little.

    Hi Andrew- Yes, this is lovely. I would go with a tighter crop with the head more or less near the upper right Rule of Thirds intersection, and some selective sharpening on the subject.

    Splendid use of muted/natural colors, well done. John's suggestions are spot on. Move from the center and subject needs to be sharper - lot of focal length here . Was this a 500 + 1.4 TC. Great background and control of the frame, just work on placement of subject. This is nice but much stronger with a few changes, keep em coming.

    Yes Jeff. I shot this image with the 500 f/4 +1.4 TC. Thanks very much for your suggestions. They did improve the image.
