We were waiting to leave on an early morning game drive, when a few Ellies came down to drink infront of our lodge. This guy would drink a bit, and then squirt water out of his trunk. The ground was sloping naturally, thus I levelled the Ellie. I captured this vertically.

Stuart - from the thumbnail and the title I thought this was going to be totally different. Nice tourist view shot with the water adding to it but not a wall hanger IMHO. The exposure and detail looks good with the dappled light.

    Hi in cuteness factor.

If there was anyway to get enough DOF to have the trunk/water sharp at the same time as the back end .... that would have been something.

Thanks Robert. I feel the trunk does fall in the DOF, but due to the slow ss, there is motion blur on the water. I may be wrong.

Thanks to everyone else for the feedback too. Always appreciated.

This is really a neat shot. While IMO the very nice composition would have been better served in a more open area, with any backdrop further away, I like it. Well seen.

Neat shot Stuart. Looks like he's doing his best fountain impersonation.
