In reality Egyptian Geese are quite interesting birds, in spite of the fact that they are so common and noisy, so I have begun tryig to get some reasonable images. We had had quite a windy night on the shores of Lake Kariba and therfore got some mini rollers. Taken on the shoreline of Rhino Island, Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe, 18th September 2011

These are very nice looking birds and you shot them with a nice start action.I like the two different wing positions of the geese.

    Hi Ken,

As there is only one comment so far, I'll give my view. While exposure, focus and technical details are well done, for me the image lacks impact because the subjects are turned away from the camera. It would have been much better if you were some distance to the right.

    Roger,

I am inclined to agree with you, this has not really captured what we saw, you had to be there
