    Default A sure sign of spring

    Ran into my good friends, Tom, Jimmy G and Stephen a couple evenings ago. In addition to capturing some images of osprey and robins, we sure had a blast. Hoping to get active again soon both in the field and here if work ever lets up.

    Since this was taken in the evening, it can't be the early bird, but he still got the worm :D

    Nice head angle and feeding behavior. The head looks a bit contrasty to me and for some reason the body posture is uncomfortable. Nice low angle and color in the BG.

    I am not a big fan of perching birds on the ground, but the action justifies the absence of perch.
    A little too much contrast for my taste and the bird could be place more eto the right in the frame.

    Nice to see you posting, hadn't seen you for a while... You coming in May?

    Hi Grace Can only add to crop a little from the top Will give a nice perspective once the bird is back a bit

    Love the timing for the behavior and direct eye contact !!! See you when you come down Let us know !!!!
