Default Homer IPT - Day -2

As Part of the IPT with Art in Homer, going to try and process and post an Image a day for comment.
I'm normally slack at processing during a trip, so this is part of the project of improving.

Drove down from Anchroage today to Homer, so this is Day -2 (IPT actually starts day after tomorrow).

Shot this on the way down. First Bald Eagle siting for me !

    Canon 1d IV, 800mm 5.6 with 1.4x (no flash)
    1/500 f8 ISO 400, Tripod, Mongoose etc.

Approx 50% crop, global adjustments only in Lightroom.
Laptop Edit which is unfortunatly not calibrated, so see how it goes.

nice I like the pose and BG, I am not seeing much detail in the dark feather though, maybe too much NR?

Hi Mark, Nice pose and I like the perch. As presented the image is to dark with little detail in the feathers and lacks contrast and could also use another round of sharpening. I am sure this is caused by the uncalibrated laptop
