Neat shot Ken. Great timing on getting them in step together. Biggest difference I see is the position of the ears. Guess one of them has to keep an ear open to the sides .

Great sense of the action here Ken. Gotta love the poised stares, open mouths, and ear positions as pointed out by Steve.

    Hi Ken,

Beautiful image in nice light. Great luck on them being in such similar poses, and nice job on the depth of field. I'm a little surprised that both are in such good focus at f/5.6--well done. Is this much of a crop?

    Steve and Jamie,

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated

I must admit to not noticing the ear positions being out of sync

    Roger,

This is about half of the RAW, all cropped from the LHS, I had much to much "walk into" space. The AF point was bang on the nearest head and they were quite close together

Nice idea and very pleasing result - as mentioned it really does give a good feeling of movement. Something to learn.

Ken - nicely done, good light and dof. Are the inner legs right next to each other? Looks like you've really had some interesting sightings and opportunities lately.

    Harshad, and Paul,

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.

    Rachel,

Thanks for your comment, there are only three legs here the nearest lionesses right leg is just out of frame.

Zimbabwe is my favourite place for Safari, not teeming with wildlife but you generally get something interseting, plus it is still not overly busy!

Ken, lovely warm light, and well done to capture these two in perfect sinc. Good sharpness too.

I like the synchronised look and the great light Ken. Good angle of view as well.

    Well done.

Excellent image, Ken. In sync, and a sense of mission in their expressions. Well done!
