    The matching colors of the earth and BG work well. Like the low angle too. I would have liked the bird giving us a better profile or else looking directly at us. I also find the overall compositon a little tight up top.

    Nice view of this fella on the dry ground. Great BG and low angle. A wee bit tight in the frame. As is the pose would have been perfect with a more direct lighting angle to light the shaded parts of the face...I wish you had moved to your right a bit (if possible, of course). Good techs, and the processing very clean.

    I agree with the previous comments. The far eye being in the shade and having a different color cast is a little distracting.

    In your face sweet with nice light and BKGR. From exactly where you were raising the camera one inch would have yielded a stronger image. Same wishes as Doug for the head pose.
