    Thanks Ken.

These are the same bears from last year image http://500px.com/photo/1213700
She has issues with hind leg. It was great to see her again with two healthy looking cubs.

Sid, the pair of these last two images, is just beyond incredible. I hope you do place these next to each other in your book. I see you left the water in the BG, looks fine and as Chas noted in the previous post, it gives depth. Side note: I am glad to see the female with the bad foot doing well. Last year I photographed a pair of coyotes and the male had a severely broken hind foot. I feared he wouldn't make it thru the winter. Two days ago, I saw the same pair and his foot is still bad but he is healthy and functioning well despite a significant limp. Nice to see an animal beat the odds. I look forward to the next post in the series, but I am really going to be bummed when the parade ends. TFS.

    Sid,

This and your other images are really impressive. Well done. Please tell us a little more about Kaktovik, Alaska. There are few roads. Did you fly in, rent a car and drive the few roads looking for bears, or are you flying out on a float plane? You are getting a nice low perspective, unlike the higher perspective from the vehicles at Churchill.

Another real stunner Sid...compliments are running dry...I love the soft light and 'cold' mood here, not to mention the interaction and clean surroundings...

I guess we all get attached to subjects once in a while. It was like seeing an old friend.
