Bighorn sheep in the South Dakota Badlands. Minor adjustments, crop, resize and sharpen. C&C appreciated.

    Hi Mike,
Ditto what has been said above. I like the way you have maintained the steep angle through the image with the angle of the sheep slanting to the left.
    Thank you for sharing,
    Mark.

I concur with all the good points/compliments raised above, Mike...
Excellent composition and overall animalscape. I felt it could just 'pop' a bit more - so I tried my hand at a few tweaks (hope you don't mind ).

Basically did a multiplied highlights layer (see Robert's sticky thread), as I felt there was more to be extracted from the sky. 40% opacity.
Then painted through a mask of that highlights layer to the foreground as I only wanted to top left corner to be affected by the highlights adjustment.
Lastly, did some midtone dodging on the antelope and surrounds.

    What do you think?

    Morkel,

I like what you've done. You definitely added impact to the image. I felt the same way you did about the sky, but wasn't sure how to make the adjustment. I appreciate your help.
