Since there is a considerable post processing work, I thought I should post the original too for comparison.
Sid,
YOU CONFORMIST- lol
I do not mind the water, as it adds a sense of depth.

Either way, the pose is a total knock-out, Sid, must have been awesome to see them play in person.
What a beautiful set of polar bear images, Sid. I am in awe!
Sid is da polar bear man. What a sweet selection of images you got Sid.
I like the original but IMO I prefer your edit Sid. As much as the water adds depth I love endless BG.
Sid,
A marvelous Straus momentI can hear the music now.
In all honesty I am stuck on whether the cloning is necessary.
Ken,
I had this image in my mind since last year. Last year there was no snow and I did not attempt to create one like this.
This was taken on 2 day of my trip and since then I am going back and forth on cloning the water channel in the background. Finally I leaned towards cloned version few hours back and now I am leaning towards original... I guess I will keep both. :)
Thanks for the critic.

Hi Sid,
Both images have there merits, but my preference is for the original post as the water , for me acts as a distraction to the dancing polar bears.
Wonderful detail and cloned background, but if you had not shown the original, I would not have known.
Thank you for sharing, Mark.

Sweet!! Love the original post without the channel.
Another winner Sid . Keep both the cloned version for yourself and the original for contest I think there both strong images.

Sid, this is fantastic. I think I give the edge to the OP, but the image as shot is still powerful. The title is excellent and the pose, just makes me smile. I keep coming back to this shot. Ok, do I dare ask if there is more coming from this series??? Just wonderful.
How about this Tom?

Love it! I prefer the "uncloned" version for exactly the reason Chas pointed out![]()
Outstanding series...love them all..I vote the non cloned but I lean more towards the natural
Sid - another wonderful behavior shot. Both are great. I probably would never even have thought to clone out the water so interesting to hear that you had a certain shot/look you wanted for a year. Congrats on achieving it.

Rachel
