Ken i loved this image. am sure you had fun for your visit to india grabbing many bird species including tiger from this place as well.

excellent photography with 1/125 yes it is. I loved the OOF bulbs in BG (Open sky through forest).

Great that you got the crest lifted up and the dramatic light plays its role precisely.

I'd take this over a tiger any day, really very nice. Pose, perch, HA, IQ terrific. I love the diagonal of the perch. BG seems a touch bright and busy to me -- I might subdue it just a bit if it were mine, but that's just taste. Great job.

Ken, good attentive pose, sharp, and that eye stands out so well. The highlights in the BG have been toned down well enough, so I dont find them distracting. You could maybe try and blend in some of the greens to lessen them.

Excellent capture. Great sharpness & details in 1600 iso. You have powerful hands, shooting at 1/125s & still quite sharp. congrats.

Thanks to all for your kind comments much appreciated, the BG was a nuisance but I have tried to disguise it as best as possible.

Sometimes my preferred method of hand-holding pays off, I must have been well braced.

Excellent image Ken! Amazing result with the low light and being handheld. I like the pose, crest, sharpness and eye.
