    Roy,

Greetings. Nice, sharp, well composed image. The whites are a bit over-exposed for detail ( see current discussion about ettr on Online Photographer). It's a bit of a challenge to know what to do about the white balance in shots like this. If this were mine, I would reduce the magenta cast in the whites but not completely (and probably pump up the color contrast and saturation in the water, but that is another issue and a matter of taste). I particularly like the look of the distant blurred water (and would work that more, again, if it were mine)... Thanks for posting this one.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Hi Roy- Quite lovely. Light, water, pose, comp. and head angle all very nice. I would try to tone down the small, blown highlight areas on the neck and de-noise the background.

Roy, the eyes are killer! I am heading out tomorrow in hopes of getting a shot of one of these guys, I hope I do as well as you. Avoiding overcooking the whites on these guys is a challenge that I am still trying to figure out. Nice and sharp. TFS
