It's that time of year again and the Storks will be dropping babies off
very soon. How many do you have on order?

American Wood Stork, adult landing with nesting material (not a baby - yet), Lakeland, Florida

Nikon 70-300 VR ED AF-S @ 200mm and the Nikon D2X. ISO 400. Manually Exposed 1/2000 s @ F8 (very close to my Nikon sunny 16 white exposure value)

    Photographed from the "Hooptie"

    Doug do you remember?

James, I just love thisl Beautiful wing positions and the coming at you angle is terrific with that great branch. Composition is perfect.

Hey James. As always, it rocks. Lovely soft whites. Looks like an aircraft coming to to land. The good lord sure does have the edge on us. See you sometime.

    Hi James!

Wow! This one is powerful and has character to me. I am staring at it ... waiting for it to land. I like it a lot!

Really nice image, Dad. The head on landing with a stick is pretty sweet. Start posting and commenting on a monitor smaller than 30 inches  your font size takes up my whole screen ;) (I wink, but I'm serious)

Love the wing position here Jim, although the twig/stick is cool behaviourly speaking I think this would rock more without it:)
