Nice background and good details on this cool little bird.

I find the perch a bit large and ugly. You can go someway to rectifying that by cleaning up the white wash on it.

Great capture! Nice sharpness, exposure, and details! The background is quite clean as well! I'm fine with the perch; it is what it is, but you can probably re-crop and put the bird a little bit more toward the right. However, you may want to clean out the white stuff from that perch.

Excellent detail throughout, and the little guy is really sharp. I really like the blue on the flycatcher, and you have got yourself a smooth BG too.

Exquisite, great detail, nice depth of colour, good, clean BKG. Looks like a favourite location by the markings.

    Girisholeti,

Well done to capture this beautiful and small (11-12cm) bird in such an open moment. This must be almost life size.

The colours are rendered perfectly and the BG is great, the only thing missing is a little more of the orange breast feathers

Personally I do not mind "whitewash", in the same way that I do not mind Elephant poo all over the place, it is part of nature.

    I like this a lot

Great capture and good job on the improvised tripod. Even better considering you shutter speed and what you did to take the photo. Extra preperation paid off well here. Great shot you have. Nice clean BG, excellent detail as well. If were my image I would clone out the bird poo from the perch. But it is fine as is too and doesn't distract from the main subject.

    As everyone said above.

A master piece for this softy. Colors rendered really well here. Sharpness Perch and Pose everything superb. the poo needs to be off on perch as said by many.

I find the pose is bit different from what we used to see for these Tickell's Blue.

You scored a knockout with this one. Beautiful bird, perfectly captured. Agree about the whitewash.
