    Very dramatic sky and nice colors, Myer. Good processing to add to mood - might crop some off bottom so horizon is not at center.

    Hi Myer;

    If this were mine...I'd crop the bottom to just above the the grass on the left side...and maybe tone down the highlights in the sky just a bit as well. I love the color, the drama in the clouds that Brendan mentions, and the play of light on the water. To my eye the image needs a slight bit of rotation CCW to level the horizon. I hope to see more of your work!

    Myer, I think the two guys nailed the critique. Not much else to add but I do like the dramatic sky you captured and the processing looks good. Nice to see you posting!

    I actually like the original composition as I find the beach quite interesting. I always wonder at HDR programs that wind up clipping the highlights as happened here..... I'd start over and try to avoid that by tweaking the settings.

    Hi Myer, very dramatic sky. I too like the original image. I think Arthur makes a good point about starting over to avoid the clipped highlights.

    Myer..In my opinion the image is overprocessed....I would start over and not clip the highlights so much and possibly take some of the saturation out of the blue sky . i also like the foreground and would do some selective darkening and lightening to it. Hope to see more of your work!

    Hello Myer, the repost does it for me. I don't find the beach interesting at all compared to that gorgeous sky and ocean.

    I redid the post processing and created two images one with the beach for those who liked the beach and one cropped as above.First image
