I like the soft light, great detail in the fur and the pin sharp eyes here Steve. The wavy grass adds a lot IMHO.

Steve, I love the softness of this image (not in relation to sharpness, but the feel of it), with the wavy background which is wonderful, the slightly woolly look of the calf which contrast with the bright, clear eyes. I like the fact that the foreground grasses add depth. Nicely done.

Nice portrait, The FG grass is a really nice touch and the eyes look great.

    Steve,

This is great, it captures "innocence" wonderfully well.

Hi Steve a 'sweet' portrait, great BKG, is it wind swaying thr grasses. Like the sheen look on the eyes & noses.

Steve, you have brought out the fur nicely on the calf, and just love those alert ears. I really like the OOF 'wind swept' grasses in the BG. ( they appear as if the wind was blowing )

A lovely portrait Steve, the soft textures of the fur are nicely captured and I too like the BG and waving grasses.

Steve - nicely done. There's a real 3d feel to this. I agree with the others, the wavy bg grasses add a lot to the image.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The BG was due to a pretty strong wind working on the tall grasses. Nice when Mother Nature cooperates on a photo.
