    Hi Ben. Very nice bird in a very nice pose with a terrific background. I really like the crested head. If mine, I would crop off much of the left side and add a bit to the right side. On my monitor it appears a bit over sharpened and I think it could benefit from a round of mild NR.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I mede some of the changes you suggested-crop and less sharpening. I also reduced the contrast a little. Ben

    Ben - this looks better to me. Nicely done. I think the composition would be better if more of the space was cropped off the left side.
