    It's been a long, busy winter. It's been difficult for me to make the time to actively participate here or elsewhere.
    It was indeed a pleasure to run into Jim, Stephen and Grace yesterday afternoon and share a few laughs while photographing Osprey at SMSP.
    Unfortunately, Artie was riding the LIRR to NYC and couldn't join us.

    Canon 1Dmkll, 500mm f/4, 1.4x tc, tripod, 1/1000 @ f5.6, ISO 400.

    Very powerfull image Tom I like it alot. It's super sharp, the details on the wings is great, and yes, love the flight angle...:D

    SMSP???? Not familiar with this location...where is it? You may not have gotten out often, but you sure made this one count!

    Excellent image Tom !!! Was that taken over the beach? Love the layout position !!!! Soft light and great feel !!!

    The full wing and tail spread is beautiful. Good exposure and compostion. A lovely image all around.

    Jodee ..... Sunken Meadow State Park out on Long Island.

    Al ..... although the park has quite a bit of beach this guy and his mate are occupying a nest platform along a creek. This was taken along the creek.
