Hey, nice to see Little Ringed Plover as a wintergast in India. In the summer I often see them with juveniles in the Netherlands...
Photo is very nice, matching colours in the bird and background, low position, good sharpness...

    Mital:

Very nice techs, sharp, well exposed, good shooting angle, pleasant BG. Love the little toenail visible on the foot.

    Cheers

I really like the complementary colours of the background - is that muddy water behind?

It is about as good as it gets! Well done!

The background is a high sand bar on the other side of small waterbody. and the perch is the front sandbar where i clicked from entering the pond just in front.

Other than the tiny white speck on the bill just in front of the nares this one is PMP = pretty much perfect... This has gotta be a worn juvenile.

Mital - You sure use the 2x with the 500 well. Just goes to show don't belive everything you read on the internet. I do like the toe, and the BG and shooting angle are great. Look forward to more of your images.

Hello! Has anyone ever heard of ABP II? Subscribed to free BAA On-Line Bulletins? I have been championing the use of the 2X with both the EF 500 f/4 and the EF 600 f/4 for close to a decade now.... Here is one of the things that I have been saying: "If you cannot consistently create sharp images with either the the 500 f/4 and the 600 f/4 with the 2X TC down to 1/60 sec. then you are not using your gear to its fullest potential."
