    excellent image as usual Arash.
    Can we mixup the bg dark band crossing the head ?

    Thanks Mital, to my eyes the wave in the BG is not that much distracting, it may look better w/o it but for me taking it out in PS is too much manipluation

    Very nice light and pose and very sharp. I don't mind the band on the background; I actually like it.

    Arash:

    I think simple is generally good for bird shots!

    The bird is sharp, well exposed, nice angle, both shooting and in the frame.

    I really like the shells, but might be tempted to lower the luminosity a bit to keep our eyes on the bird.

    The dark band in the BG is soft enough that it doesn't bother me.

    What a lovely image, Arash.
    I love the light, and the deep blue bg to go along with this gorgeous bird. The shells and the fact that the legs are visible make this a winner for me.

    Nice pose and a pretty bird.
    Maybe a bit more room at the top so the banding was not so uniform?

    Sweet light, perfect pose, and some nice shells. Good to know that you can take a picture of a bird standing still!
