    Default Sandhill at Bosque

Sandhill Crane captured at Bosque del Apache two years ago. I'm getting psyched up for my upcoming trip to Bosque next month to photograph the migrating cranes and snow geese. There are also raptors and mammals to be captured.

Captured at 7:30am in November, nice winter light of early morning.

    50D, EF400mm f/5.6L
    Manual mode, f/5.6@1/1250 ISO 200 WB 5100K
AI Servo autofocus, hand-held no flash

Kerry, I like this image immensely—especially the HA, the dangling legs, the wing position, the light & the sharpness. A great capture.

Kerry, I like the downbeat of the wings and the colors and contrast are very nice! Sharp! Well done and TFS.
