    Dan:

    Great timing, neat that you can see the prey item a bit. I like the concept of the habitat, but these are kind of ugly reeds, look like they have all been cut off, with the pieces floating in the water.
    I might be tempted to crop in tighter if the IQ will allow, to reduce the impact of the reeds a bit.

    As Randy points out you had impeccable timing here, and although the reeds are in rough shape I do like the greens alot. Not so fond of the reed debris in the water though, and the head of the egret is soft - likely caused by subject movement and of it having moved forward out of DOF range.
