    I looked up from my spot on the river and happened to see these Ibis flying by. I am tempted to clone out the last one, but can't decide. Anyway I thought it turned out nice for a longer shot.

    Canon 40D handheld
    Canon 400 f/5.6L
    Av @f/5.6 1/6400th
    ISO 320
    CWM @ +1.7
    Cropped vertically only for pano feel

    I toyed with that Manos and couldn't decide whether I liked it pale or bold. I left it like the sky that night, pale. The bold one works too.

    Even if leaving the sky the lighter tone, I think I would up the blacks to darken the birds. You could clone out (or even move) the last bird really easily.

    I like both versions, Paul. It just depends on what look you want. I agree with Jim about increasing the blacks in the birds.

    Thanks Jim and Steve. I think I'm happy with this one after a quick redo...decided to leave all the Ibis.

    I like your final redo best. Very pretty image, and I like it with all the birds left in. Good job getting no merged birds. Well done.
