Hello everyone. Here is another shot of a different coot that was more than willing to get close. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.
Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400 w/1.4tc, Exposure - 1/640, Aperture - F6.3, ISO - 250, Focal Length - 320mm, Metering - Multi Segment, Manual.
Robert - nice job of holding the whites while keeping detail in the blacks. The shot is nice and sharp and the water drops add interest. The frontal lighting is nice.
Good exposure, nice details, and nice warm light. I do wish you had pointed your lens more to the left and a bit lower though, or alternatively you could crop more from the right and top and add a bit at bottom if you have it (and giving the image a thinner 2:3 ratio). Great looking eye!!
EXP well-handled as noted. Surely needs more room below also as noted by Dan. These can be awkward compositions.... Reducing the contrast a bit combined with a tad less sharpening might give the image a softer look; it looks a bit jangly here to me.
