Image of a Milkweed pod, Orton effect, Topaz Spicify, blurred background...Does it look like its falling? A leaf might have worked better?

Paul, it's an interesting idea but it doesn't really feel like any motion - could add a motion blur to give a sense of falling. I do think a leaf would work better in this context. Otherwise, I would add some stem back into the corner to "ground" the milkweed. Just seems like the pods would be too heavy to capture in free fall.

Paul, I like the filtering and colors. The subject has always been a fave of mine. I agree w/ Kerry regarding the stem. If it were mine, I would re-title it and crop a little off the bottom so that the stem is going out of the frame and maybe tone down some of the brighter area of the pod. I personally like the way this looks and the background is gorgeous. It's a keeper.

Not sure about the falling feeling, but I have to say that I love the colour and fine texture in the pod. Not sure what I would do to get more of what you intended but I wouldn't want to lose that silky, blue pod.

Hi Paul, most certainly a keep, just add back in the stem. Love the colors and the details in the seed pod.

Paul, I like it a lot! The colors are excellent especially the silky blue pod. Wonderful light.
