We watched in amazement, as the

    Have a Happy Halloween!

The glow from this fire pit and light on the stone work, gave me an idea for Halloween. Experimented with different shots of the fire pit. Then took an image of my cat, and found that when I used the overlay blend mode, the face appeared to be carved into the stone with the reflective fire light showing through. Flipped that image, and tried to position them where the features of the stone accented the features of the cat face. Some levels adjustment and a bit of Topaz details.

Nicely done, Brendan! I like everything about the image but think you could jack up the text a bit more...maybe a scarier font or a larger scale to it so it feels a little "beefier"?

Very cool Brendan, nice Halloween card! I like the way you put the elements together. I think Jules has a good point about the text, a nice spooky font would be cool! Well done!

Brendan, I like the rich colors and the faces in the background. Very nice fire pit and great idea for a card. I do wish that you had a bit more detail in the whites of the fire. I know I am going against the grain but the smaller font works for me. It is less imposing. Happy Halloween to you too.

Thanks everyone! Had fun with this one. Appreciate your comments & suggestions.
Jules, I played around with different sized text, don't have a good spooky font, but I think it works better smaller or understated so not to take away from the imagery.
