i feel you can tone down white on head a bit and open up some shad's.
Two feet higher or two feet lower would have worked a lot better for me.... Love the drops and the pose but placing the head against the dark green/black merge was not he best choice.

The ruffled feather detail, flying water, pose all good.
Perhaps a multiply blend mode on the whites of the head to try and tease out a bit ore detail.
