1dMK4, 500mm + 1.4ext, 1/2500 @ 6.3, iso 500, EV -1/3. Taken at 7.00am. More on the bottom? Move bird a fraction to the left? Should I clean up all the highlight specs on the bill and legs?

    Thanks Tom

this is really nice image. Your exposure for whites looks really good.

May be slight better HA towards you would have changed the entire game here.
for bottom addition yes i think you are right on that part to have more bottom.

Not always the case with my whites - The exposure was not clipped in the RAW file and I pulled the whites back to the 236 mark or there abouts as suggested by AM in a previous image I posted -Just a fraction more HA would have certainly made it a better image.

I'd like to see more on the bottom and right. This is a really nice image, with a very tranquil mood. The background is perfect. I'm looking on a crappy monitor at work, so don't take my word for it, but I think I'm seeing a blue cast, particularly on the whites in shadow. Wonder if the color temp could be brought up a bit? Also maybe relieve the shadows on forehead and top of bill a bit. I'm not really seeing specular highlights on bill, except a couple places on near edge down low. The upper bright areas seem to be defining a corrugated pattern on the bill, and I wouldn't touch them.
