I am on the fence about this image. I love the pose and eye contact but not sure about the crop and that the fact she was in the shade and the light is not great...Your thoughts all around would be appreciated

Hi Dumay, can you post the FF version please?

Would be helpful if you are asking about the crop.

    cheers

    Dumay,

I like this, but wonder if it could use more space on the right and perhaps just a tad less red?

Ok Steve Here it is...I tried to eliminate the bright foliage in the BG by trying to tighten the crop

    Hi Dumay,
The repost is so much better. I like the detail and the composition. The low POV is a plus.
    Thanks for sharing,
    Mark.

Hi Dumay, I do like the OP and looking at the FF image it is the right option I feel, however and as the OP asked for thoughts then perhaps a tighter, portrait option might also work. I quite like the slight curve & diagonal line of the head and the space is fairly well balanced. Obviously the quality isn't here on this one due to the change of format, but... Optional, but might ease off a little on the sharpening off the whiskers & chin, just a tad, no big deal, just a thought. Being fine & white.

As they say 'Great minds' Dumay. The +0.33 opened it up nicely, certainly you were close with this one.

You already know my thoughts on once you get a shot in the bag.

She looks like she's having a lazy day at the beach. Interesting details in the sand and the the pose is very nice. It is good to have some crop options, very pleasing image.

Dumay - the repost in frame 5 for me. There is a very soulful look to the eyes. Nice detail, color, sharpness. It all works for me.

I like the uncropped version; however, I would do a burn on the BG. We all love the dreamy look you have captured; here is my take. In addition to the crop and a bit of removal, I did 2 x 10% burn on the BG and 1 x 10% burn on the foreground. I used the uncropped version; the lion's color can still be adjusted as done in pane #5.

Like the pose & expression you captured, Dumay. She looks relaxed but looks a bit melancholy. To me I think a tighter crop works best.

Awesome dreamy sweet pose Dumay. I am going with your original crop as well but with the extra you have on the top and Jay's suggestion of the burning bg. Beautiful detail on the face. Get off the fence, it's a keeper IMO
